What Is the Lagos Life Game?
Lagos Life is a free, Sims-style life simulation set in Nigeria. You create a character, take a job, buy food, watch your energy and pay rent in virtual naira. Meanwhile, thousands of players share the same map, so you meet them on the street and at parties. It runs in Chrome, Safari or Firefox on desktop and mobile. How to Start Playing
Open lagoslife.app and sign up. You must be 18 or older. Add an email, because it is the only way to reset a lost password. Then comes the birth lottery, where you become a Nepo baby or a Lapo baby. Nepo babies start comfortable. Lapo babies face tight money, since a Mushin Lapo baby pays ₦2,400 rent plus a ₦12,000 loan repayment every week. Our Nepo vs Lapo guide explains each start. lagoslifegame
Easy Money Tips for Beginners
First, finish every shift, because leaving early cuts your pay. Next, train your career skill so promotions come faster. Also, keep your rent ready before Saturday. After that, buy a small business and reinvest the profit. For details, read our guide to making money in Lagos Life.
Abuja and Port Harcourt Are Now Live
Players can now explore three cities. One fan guide says you can fly, take the ₦25,000 night bus or drive between them. Therefore, new careers and homes are waiting outside Lagos too.
Is There a Lagos Life App?
Not yet. The creator has said Android and iOS apps could follow by the end of October, but no date is confirmed. Until then, play in your browser, and avoid unofficial APK files.
Stay Safe While Playing
Never share your password, and use only the official site. Also remember that the game’s naira and items have no real-world value and cannot be withdrawn. So play for fun, and bookmark this page for new tips as the game grows.
Before you publish
- Fix two points in my earlier articles. I said there is no official app, and that Eliy runs the game. The latest sources say the terms name Vatar as the operator, and an app is announced but unconfirmed. Update those lines in your earlier posts, and this one already reflects both points.
- Replace the placeholder links (
your-nepo-lapo-url,your-money-url) with your real post URLs. - The cable-bridge image is generic. The artwork has no game logos, so it is safe to use. Add alt text such as “Lagos Life game guide featured image” so the keyphrase appears in the image alt, which Yoast checks.
- The ₦25,000 night bus figure comes from one fan guide. I hedged it, but check it in the game if you can.
